Steven Sesar is a seasoned consumer internet entrepreneur, Co-Founder and President of FreedomPop, the highly publicized free mobile phone startup, responsible for customer acquisition, retention, monetization and all company operations.

Prior to FreedomPop, Steven served as VP Marketing & Revenue for Woo Media, Inc., an online interactive video platform with multiple consumer properties across web, Facebook and mobile platforms, and was responsible for driving over 10 million registered users, developing a multi-million dollar revenue stream and positioning Woo Media for acquisition.

Veeral Hardev (’04)

Veeral Hardev came from family of entrepreneurs and small business owners. Growing up in the Bay Area, he always wanted to attend UCLA. His passion for technology led him to the field of engineering but he always knew he wanted to be involved in business side of things. In 2004, Hardev graduate from UCLA with a B.S. in Materials Science and a B.A. in Economics.

Since then, he has authored numerous patents and has advanced from entry-level engineer to director at Nanosys, Inc. reporting directly to the CEO. During his time at Nanosys, Hardev has helped lead the transition of the company from R&D to a profitable business.

In his 3 years leading sales activities in North America, Eric generated $25M+ in revenue from partnerships covering next gen sequencing, remote patient monitoring, hyperspectral imaging, and mixed-signal chip design.
