Steve Seigel (’05)

Steve is the President of Silversheet, a cloud-based credentialing and privileging platform for doctors, allied health, and nurses.

Steve is the President of Santa Monica Based Healthcare Start-Up Silversheet. Silversheet is a cloud-based credentialing & privileging platform for doctors, allied health, and nurses. Silversheet is backed by top-tier investors, including Upfront Ventures, Rincon Venture Partners, Slow Ventures, BAM Ventures, and SV Angel.

Aside from his role as President of Silversheet, Steve is an active angel investor and philanthropist in the Los Angeles venture community, and has served as an advisor, board member, and fundraiser to a number of companies both in LA and throughout California. Currently, he sits on the board of JVS, the largest employment nonprofit in the state and he holds various roles within the organization, such as chairing the endowment fund's investment committee. He is also a major donor to the Concern Foundation and Wilshire Boulevard Temple, as well as an active member of the Cedars Sinai Board of Governors.

Seigel graduated with bachelor's degree honors from UCLA, and later pursued graduate study at the London School of Economics. While completing his undergraduate studies, he represented Bruins Football as a standout scholar athlete—earning numerous honors, including the Jack R. Robinson Award for highest scholarship by a senior and the National Student Athlete representative seat for UCLA in both the Pac-10 and the NCAA. Dedicated to giving back to the Bruin family, he recently pledged a gift to the UCLA Athletic Department for the construction of the Wasserman Football Center, which breaks ground at the end of August.

"I wanted to give back and share my experiences as an entrepreneur with the rest of the UCLA Community," said Steve when asked why he decided to join UCLA Ventures. "I am proud to be a Bruin entrepreneur here in LA!" Seigel resides in Beverly Hills with his wife Nicole, his two sons Daniel and Benjamin, and their dog Kobe.
