After graduating from UCLA, Gabe went directly to Caltech to perform biomedical research and get his master’s degree. He then worked at Affymetrix, one of the first major genetic testing companies, while simultaneously founding his first startup, FatCat Accounting.
After returning to UCLA Anderson School of Management for an MBA, Gabe moved into sales and product management roles in market-leading SaaS companies.
Most recently he led teams of digital strategy consultants and software architects as Sr. Director of Customer Success at MuleSoft, an enterprise integration software company acquired by Salesforce for $6.5B.
Gabe’s current company is Seattle-based
Omic. This first-of-its-kind SaaS platform is teaching AI the language of biology through omics. In doing so, it enables a new world of healthcare research that reimagines both therapy design and treatment optimization.
When asked why he decided to join UCLA Ventures, Gabe said,
"I have greatly benefitted from mentorship in my career and would like to stay connected with UCLA alumni and give back to the community."
